Payment Privacy on Cam Sites: What They Store and Who Processes It

The short answer

CAM4 is the only platform in this six-site review that publicly documents what appears on your bank statement. Charges show as “GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT,” per CAM4’s billing support page. For the other five platforms, billing descriptors were not found in any publicly accessible help page or policy document.

Beyond the statement question: major cam sites route payments through third-party processors rather than handling card data themselves. Three of the six platforms in this research make explicit statements about card storage — LiveJasmin, CAM4, and BongaCams. Stripchat and MyFreeCams do not address the question in any publicly accessible document reviewed here. Chaturbate’s terms describe payment information as held by a third-party processor but do not state what, if anything, Chaturbate itself retains.

What shows on your bank statement

A billing descriptor is the label your bank or credit card issuer displays next to a charge. For cam site purchases, that label typically comes from the payment processor or a parent company entity, not the cam site’s consumer brand — but the exact descriptor string depends on which processor handles the transaction, and only CAM4 publishes this information in its official documentation.

CAM4 is the exception here. Its billing FAQ explicitly states that charges appear as “GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT.” CAM4 is the only platform among the six in this research that publishes this information, and it’s genuinely useful for anyone concerned about what a charge will look like on a shared account or statement.

For Chaturbate, Stripchat, LiveJasmin, MyFreeCams, and BongaCams, billing descriptors were not found in any official policy page or publicly accessible help content. This doesn’t mean the charges are invisible. It means the descriptor comes from whichever processor handles the transaction under its own registered name, and the cam site doesn’t document that publicly. What you see on your statement will likely read as a processor entity rather than a recognizable cam site name, but CamsNerd could not verify specific descriptor strings for these five platforms in this research.

Who processes your payment

CAM4 names its processors directly in both its privacy policy and billing support page: Epoch, SegPay, DialXS, PayGarden, Commdoo, InterAc, and BlueSnap. (The BlueSnap entry and additional Epoch entries were identified in CAM4’s billing-support page source, a CamsNerd observation.) DialXS specifically handles alternative payment methods including iDEAL, Bancontact, GiroPay, Sofort, Klarna, and Dankort, which is relevant to European users.

Stripchat names SegPay and CentroBill in its cookies policy vendor list. These appear as payment-related cookie vendors rather than in a dedicated billing policy, but the identification is explicit.

LiveJasmin does not name its payment processor in viewer-facing policy documents. A passive review of the LiveJasmin site identified a credit-card iframe loading from eps.jwsbill.com (a CamsNerd observation from reviewing the page configuration). JWSBill is associated with the Docler Group, LiveJasmin’s parent company. This is a technical observation, not a statement from LiveJasmin’s official documentation, and it may not reflect all payment methods the platform accepts.

Chaturbate states in its privacy policy that payment processing and storage are handled by a third party and are not governed by Chaturbate’s own privacy policy. The processor is not named.

MyFreeCams states in its terms that purchases may be processed by MyFreeCams or a third-party payment agent, and that multiple billing providers may be used. Foreign-transaction fees are explicitly flagged as possible if a non-US processor handles the charge. No processor names appear in the terms or help wiki.

BongaCams was Cloudflare-challenged during research, limiting what could be extracted from official pages. Processor names were not identified.

What the platform stores about your card

LiveJasmin is the most specific of the six. Its privacy policy states it retains only the last four digits of your card number and the expiration month and year, and nothing more. This is the only platform in this research that specifies exactly what card-related data it keeps.

CAM4 states in its privacy policy, in capital letters: “WE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR FINANCIAL DATA, WHICH IS COLLECTED BY OUR PAYMENT PROCESSORS.” This is a categorical disclaimer, not a claim about specific data fields.

BongaCams makes a similar statement in its terms: it “does not store nor has access to transaction details.”

Chaturbate frames storage differently. Its terms state that payment information is received and held by the third-party processor, which may store it for future use. The wording positions the processor as the entity retaining card data, with Chaturbate outside that loop, though this is policy language rather than an independently verified technical claim.

Stripchat does not specify in its privacy policy what card data, if any, it retains. It does state it has never sold personal data to third parties.

MyFreeCams does not address card-data storage terms in its publicly accessible documents.

The pattern across all six: three platforms (LiveJasmin, CAM4, BongaCams) make explicit statements about card-data handling; LiveJasmin gives the clearest picture of what limited data it retains. For the remaining three, the answer ranges from Chaturbate’s implicit delegation to the processor, to no public statement whatsoever from Stripchat and MyFreeCams.

One caveat worth stating plainly: “we don’t have access” and “we don’t store it” are policy statements. They are not technical architecture audits. The processors involved do retain billing data for their own purposes, and those processors’ retention policies were not researched in this work.

Can models see your payment information?

No evidence of this exists on any of the six platforms. Viewer payments flow to the platform, which handles performer payouts through separate accounts and payout systems. Nothing in the policies, terms, or performer-facing documentation reviewed here suggested that a performer has access to a viewer’s card details, billing address, or payment method.

This question appears frequently in search results, so it’s worth being direct: there is no mechanism documented or observed in this research that would expose viewer card data to a performer. Models receive their earnings through platform payout dashboards that are structurally separate from inbound viewer billing.

How long is financial data retained?

LiveJasmin is again the only platform with a specific figure. Its privacy policy states financial data is retained for 10 years, citing Luxembourg legislation as the basis. Luxembourg has mandatory accounting-record retention requirements for businesses, and LiveJasmin’s parent company operates there. Ten years is a long time, but it reflects a legal obligation rather than a platform choice.

For the other five platforms, payment-related retention periods are not documented in publicly accessible policy pages. The applicable retention window will depend partly on which processor holds the data and what jurisdictions govern that processor.

What this means for you

You are unlikely to see “Chaturbate” or “LiveJasmin” on a card statement. You will more likely see a processor name, a parent company entity, or a generic business name. CAM4 is the one platform that tells you the exact string in advance. For the others, if the charge appearing on a shared statement is a concern, the answer isn’t predictable from publicly available information alone.

Three of the six platforms in this research make explicit statements about card-data handling: LiveJasmin states it retains only the last four digits and expiry; CAM4 and BongaCams make categorical no-access statements. Stripchat, MyFreeCams, and Chaturbate do not make equivalent statements in publicly accessible policy documents.

None of this makes a cam site payment anonymous. A transaction still generates a record. Processors still hold billing data. What the platforms’ policy statements establish is their own claimed role in the chain, which for most of these six is: routing to a processor and stepping back. Whether that’s sufficient for your circumstances is a question about your specific situation, not a judgment this article can make.

Passive page-source review for LiveJasmin and CAM4 billing pages. All research conducted on 2026-08-01.

Method constraints: No accounts were created. No transactions were made. No contact with platforms, processors, or regulators. Billing descriptors for five platforms remain unverified because official documentation was not found and no purchases were made. BongaCams’ official policy pages were Cloudflare-challenged, limiting extraction to the terms page. Stripchat’s payment processor identification comes from its cookies-policy vendor list rather than a dedicated billing policy. Payment processor data-retention policies are not covered in this research.
